Sheldon was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. His love for music began at a young age while singing in his church choir, and taught himself to play piano at the age of 10. In the 5th grade, he was cast as “Freddy Fast-Talk” in his first musical, The Runaway Snowman! From then on, he knew that performing was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He is a graduate of the Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA) - a residential performing arts high school in St. Petersburg, Florida - where he earned a pre-collegiate certificate, double majoring in Vocal Performance and Musical Theatre.

Immediately after high school graduation, he was awarded a full-scholarship to attend the GRAMMY Foundation’s Songwriting Intensive in Los Angeles, where he studied songwriting under the leadership of Chris Sampson (Vice Dean of Popular Music at the University of Southern California). He recently graduated with his BFA in Musical Theatre from Rider University in May of 2019, and is currently represented by Bloc Talent Agency NYC!

When he is not performing, you can find Sheldon working on his original music, or coaching and teaching. Sheldon is a fitness fanatic and is currently a training instructor at 305 Fitness in NYC. He is also very dedicated to his faith, often participating in and/or leading bible study with his friends and loved ones.

“To whom much is given, much is required and for this reason I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
